Shop: Bridge & Burn

I'm loving the casual cool vibe of Portland based apparel line, Bridge & Burn. Their summer line consists of pieces I could wear, no problem, every.single.day. And when the weather cools down, I've got my eye on this jacket. Check out the full selection here (also check out their tumblr site. It's purdy).

Style Inspiration: Long lengths

And a few of my favorite options under $100:
Maxi dresses and skirts have really not been on my radar...until now. I own exactly two dresses and would like to add more to my wardrobe because they're so stinking EASY. I throw one on for work, add a cardigan and a belt, if needed, and I'm good to go (I have yet to try a skirt. Baby steps). It has taken a while but I think I've finally changed my mind about this longer length. Are you a fan?
dresses under $100: 1// construct maxi dress $78 2// goddess dress $92 3// surplice maxi $35 4// zig zag dress $74.95

Under $100: Colorful flats for Spring

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight // nine // ten // eleven // twelve // thirteen
It seems like the older I get, the drabber my closet gets in terms of color (why is that?!). Bright flats are an easy way to pep up a neutral wardrobe and all of these options are under $100 so why stop at just one pair? #7 and #13 are my favorites and #1 would be perfect to have around for rainy days. See any you like?

Bags & Pouches by Júlia Marco

The Spring/Summer 2013 textile collection by Valencia based designer and illustrator Júlia Marco combines so many of my favorite things: totes, pouches and, of course, triangles. Oh, and 100% organic cotton and leather. I like those things too. The bags are reasonably priced at 38 euros for the totes and 16 euros for the pouches with shipping available to the U.S. What's not to love here? Check out Júlia's shop to purchase. Happy Monday!

Under $100: Geometric Jewels

Geometric jewelry is one accessory trend I hope sticks around for the long haul. It seems to be hanging on longer than most trends so I guess we'll see. Here are a few of my recent favorite options, all at an affordable price. I'm currently coveting all jewels in gold + black (how about this rope necklace?!).

If you like jewelry, perhaps you'll dig my pinterest board, jewels and gems?

So many holiday dress options for under $100 (ok, I cheated on #1 since that's technically not under $100 but let's not split hairs) so the questions remains, what will I be wearing this holiday season? I like the quirky patterns on #4 and #9 but the classic looks of #3 and #8 are also appealing. Hmmmm. What do you think? See anything you like?

Pieces

Pieces, a Danish accessory line, has some snoods and scarves available at Asos and I'm pretty smitten. So smitten in fact that I bought this snood recently and it's even prettier in person. Also, can I just mention how much I love the word "snood?" Snooooood.

Under $100: Two Fall Must-Haves

elbow patch zip sweater $59.50; elbow patch cardigan $49.95; colorblock heartnote cardigan $72
toothpick cord $98; skinny skinny ankle cords $89.50
We've yet to take our summer beach trip (that's going to happen in September, yay!) so I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that fall is right around the corner. Two items that are definitely on my fall shopping list are comfy sweaters with elbow patches and colorful cords. Thus far, these are my favorite options for under $100. Have you started a fall shopping list yet?
Any must-haves for you this fall?

Landscape Pouches

I think these landscape pouches by Mexican designer Sara Beltrán are perfectly off beat and pretty rad. They're available in her shop - Shop Dezso ($65). I never thought I'd feature an accessory with flamingos on it, but alas, there's always an exception to the rule and I've gotta say, I love those flamingos!

Find more awesome pouches here and here.

Under $100: Bikinis

I'm in the market for a new bikini (I'm feeling optimistic about a beach trip sometime soon!). I already have a one piece that I hope will survive another season but I'm wanting to try something new this year. I'm hoping to find something reasonably priced and as much as I like the retro inspired, high waisted bottoms, they aren't the most flattering cut on my body type so I'm going to stick to a more modern, forgiving cut in the bottom. Here are my favorites:
metallic thread bikini $39.88 via old navy; twist bandeau and ruched hipster $44 via delias
hurley willow bikini top and bottoms $70 via tilley's; digital flower top and bottoms $39.80 via zara
seersucker triangle halter and side tie bikini $96 via jcrew; polka dot string bikini $90 via madewell

ruffle string top and garden floral bikini $88 via jcrew; mossimo mix and match $32 via target
red stripe triangle front and pant $52 via topshop; roseblossom string halter and bottom $90 via madewell
And a few others because I can't help myself:
I need to choose a favorite stat. I think this suit is definitely the forerunner but I really like the price of this one and I love the color combo of this one. What do you think? Do you have a favorite?

Shop: Flight 001

Flight 001 is a one stop shop for all things travel. Carrying brands like Co-Lab, Herschel Supply Co., Baggu, and Fjällräven, not only is the selection of bags fantastic, but they also carry travel essentials to help you sail through security at the airport. Or through a long weekend visiting family.

Random side note- last month when I flew to Texas, I accidentally forgot about the water bottle in my bag and I attempted to go through security. A TSA officer pulled me aside and asked me if I wanted to check my bottle of water. Ha! I thought it was a joke but he was very serious about it and I said, "nah, I think you can throw it away." Whoops! Also, who the heck would check a $1 bottle of water?!

Under $100: Spring Shopping

1/ scratchy line zip back vest $60 via topshop 2/ patent sidewalk skimmer $98 via madewell 3/ pyramid metal tip clutch $26.86 via asos 4/ studded tie-back ballet flats $49.95 via gap 5/ printed sheath dress $59.95 via gap 6/ spot bow front top $70 via oasis 7/ small peach and brass wood triangle necklace $15 via tri & gull 8/ naked at the beach nail color trio $36 via mary jo matsumoto 9/ sonreier necklace via webbwebb $92 10/ always skinny flood jeans $69.95 via gap 11/ diamond weave clutch $85 via need supply co.

Do you ever go shopping and realize that everything you're trying on or planning to purchase falls into a specific color palette? I had that experience this weekend when I purchased a few things from the GAP (all of which are pictured above) and I realized that I'm really liking the dusty pink, peach, black combination. Every piece is versatile and can be mixed and matched with other colors as well which makes me gives this palette two enthusiastic thumbs up. Plus it kind of works with Valentine's Day. Speaking of, I hope you have a great one!

Under $100: Long Sleeved Dresses

I wear dresses more than anything and just because it gets cold doesn't mean my dress wearing habits cease to exist. Although I layer my warm weather dresses so that I can wear them year round, I like to have a few long sleeved dresses for when I have to stay warm and want to keep it simple. I've rounded up some of my favorite options under $100. This one and this one are my top picks. See any dress you wouldn't mind wearing?
