Interiors: Not Quite Neutral

I'm loving the unassuming charm of these not-quite-neutral spaces. Vintage details meet taupe, grey, green, a touch of brass and yellow. I don't know if I'll ever be able to settle on just one style for a space (if I ever want a cohesive look in my home, I better start committing to something), but this look is pretty darn close to my ideal. Also, how sweet is the crochet throw in the first space?

pssst...if you love interiors and decor, check out D&OC Part II.

Interiors: Bathrooms + Mirror Clusters

Instead of having one large mirror over the bathroom sink, what about breaking up the space using multiple smaller mirrors? This might be problematic if you're like me and use the bathroom mirror and sink as a sort of makeshift vanity (a cluster of bigger mirrors might work though). Either way, I think it's a charming look, especially for a guest bath.

And yes, that last bathroom has made in on D&OC twice now because it's just that awesome. If interiors and decor are your jam, don't miss the plethora of spaces posted over on my tumblr page.

Interiors: Neutral Rustic

What these spaces lack in color, they make up in thoughtful details, organic texture, and rustic warmth. I'm especially smitten with the open shelving and cream colored dishes in the first kitchen as well as the mirror arrangement in the last bathroom. There's lots to love in these spaces, including those sweet succulents, don't you think?

Interiors: Rustic Grey

I found these charming, (mostly) monochromatic, rustic spaces on Nü Home's inspiration page. I think the words, "refined bohemian" describe the style here, but perhaps you have a better description? Either way, I'd love to have a country home away from home with a bathroom just like that one.

Decor: Vintage Art + Simple Arrangements

From a collection to a single piece, I love the look of a simple vintage art piece hung just right. If you like this look, you might also like this round up of classic portraits used in decor. Hope you're having a good week friends!

Interiors: Dark and Lovely

It has been dreary, cold and wet in Raleigh for the past few days. Weather like this puts me in the mood for dark, warm, comforting interiors. The two bedrooms are my favorite. Very romantic, no?

Interiors: Feeling Warm and Cozy

You know what would really make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside? If I were drinking a hot toddy while taking a bath in that gorgeous bathtub. Are any of these spaces making you feel all warm and cozy?

Interiors: Black and White

Of all the interior round ups I've posted, I realized I've managed to neglect featuring simple black and white. This is probably because I adore color and could never see myself using only black and white in a space (perhaps with lots of wood accents...maybe). After posting this kitchen though, I've been finding myself admiring the restraint it must take to edit down to these two basic colors. My favorite space is, hands down, the first bedroom. Look at all that light! What about you? See a space you like?
