A Perfect Pair

I came across both of these images on Design*Sponge. The first is a new wallpaper from Studio Rita. I adore the geometric pattern of the sherbet colored small trees. The kitchen's color palette is pretty stinking similar, don't you think? Love the raspberry + mint + lemongrass combo.

Decor: Paint by Number Wallpaper

How perfectly fun is this wallpaper spotted on Design*Sponge?  Upon first glance, I was loving the fact that the owner of this home used pineapple wallpaper in the living room, but then I realized it was paint by number wallpaper and I had to learn more!
The paint by number wallpaper series can be found at Jenny Wilkinson and includes five different patterns (£40 per roll) that can be painted or colored in however you choose.  It's a fantastic idea for those of use that want personalized wallpaper or simply have the itch to color the walls.  If you're too hesitant to paint on the walls or you're renting and can't wallpaper the space, I'd simply mount the wallpaper and frame a couple of large pieces to hang on the wall.  What do you think?  Think you'd have fun working with this wallpaper or would you rather not go there?

Interiors: Granny Chic Florals

I'm conjuring up my inner grandma today with these lovely floral bedrooms.  Nothing says "granny chic" like floral wallpaper.

images 1 and 3 were found on Your Granny Was Chic, one of my very favorite tumblr pages and also the *inspiration* for the title of this post.

Hand printed wallpaper

Piggy-backing on my post from earlier today, I just have to mention my love for Deborah Bowness' amazing wallpapers.

You can see the full collection here. I'm especially loving the plate wallpaper which would make hanging those plate walls a breeze!

Since I can't wallpaper a room in our home (silly rental company), perhaps it's time for a decoupage project? Speaking of DIY projects, someone asked me recently why I haven't been posting any more DIY projects. I have two words in response, "no time." Between the blog, the shop, my full time job, and my Saturday job, I'm using any spare time to...sleep. However, now that I have the craft show under my belt, I'm hoping to get back into the DIY swing so stay tuned!
