Some of my favorite items and accessories for under $100 at Echo.  Did you know that in 1923, Echo was the first brand name ever printed on a scarf?  I didn't and I think it's great that over 85 years later this company is still making pretty items at affordable prices.  See anything you like?

Scout & Catalogue

Scout & Catalogue's line of scarves and handbags are "heavily influenced by the bohemian beach culture of Mexico."  The product styling alone is pretty dreamy and I can only imagine how soft one of those scarves would feel around my neck (of course, in this scenario I would have a margarita in hand strolling along the beach).  You can find the shop here and all of the pretty product shots here.  Can't you just feel the sand between your toes?

Hand Knit Scarves

If there's one accessory I simply CANNOT live without, it's a scarf. As the season change, I move from light silk scarves to pashminas and homemade knits. Knit scarves are unbelievably warm and they add a certain charm to just about any outfit. If you've ever tried to knit (and I have, quite unsuccessfully thank you very much) you know how LONG one of these scarves can take to make. You also know that the care, attention, and craftsmanship of a well made scarf is unlike many handmade goods. I've scoured Etsy to find some of my favorite knit scarves to share with you and these all happen to be under $100.

Sure you might be able to find a knit scarf at a retail store that would be cheaper, but I promise, if there's anything you spend money on this fall, invest in a good scarf (and maybe a good pair of boots too.)

A little Sunday shopping recap

The last time I mentioned Old Navy was back in February, quite some time ago, huh? Well, I hopped into the store yesterday after the bookstore in an effort to find my growing niece a few pieces. My sister always jokes that whenever I shop for "A" that she ends up looking like a little mini me. Well, I know what I like and I don't like kids in cartoon themed outfits (ahhh, sorry, please don't send me hate mail). I think my mom ruined me on one too many princess outfits.

I think I jumped up and down when I saw this coat, and no, I am not above jumping up and down in a store.
