Spring Picks at Ruche
Some new spring favorites over at Ruche...
Crafty Garlands Craft Top $28.99; denim bow belt $16.99; silhouette flower purse in marigold $54.99; Kate Spade "Toby" natural canvas lime slide $69.99; polka dot baubles ribbon necklace $18.99; gisele peche flower top $49.99
It's always difficult to pick favorites at Ruche because I'd wear pretty much anything in the shop. If you haven't already, you must check out the Spring lookbook, it's styled beautifully. It's finally getting warm here and quite quickly. I'm vastly unprepared for warmer weather...

Ruche dress two ways and a winner
I'm a bad blogger...I was supposed to announce the winner of the One in Every Color Giveaway last night, but some friends were in town and three (or four) margaritas later, I had completely forgotten my responsibilities. Drats.
So, without further adieu, the lucky winner is...
#62!
That would Lauren from Shooting Stars Mag! Congrats Lauren; I'll be in touch soon.
Thank you to One in Every Color for such a nice, generous giveaway. I love the idea of quilts and glass together and I really appreciate you sharing your work with us.

So if you've been reading this blog for any period of time, you know that I generally don't photograph myself wearing clothes, however; I'm more than willing to make an exception for my lovely new sponsor- Ruche! I've blabbered on and on about how I love this affordable, online only, vintage inspired boutique. Seriously, I would wear every single piece of clothing in the shop if I could. Today, I'll be showing you how I wear this dress...
Lavender daisies galore shirt dress $38
One of the things I look for when purchasing clothing is it's ability to be worn in different seasons. I like to get the most out of any given piece, so a piece must be versatile.
I've put together two "looks" here, one for summer and the other for the fall.
Summer
This dress is lightweight and super comfortable. I wore it to work and my boss went crazy over it (if it pleases the boss, it get a thumbs up.) Belt is vintage and bag is Kate Spade seen here.
B asked for a big smile, cute huh? Sunglasses are from the vintage shop I work at on the weekends.
Simple accessories finish the look- a vintage inspired rose ring made by yours truly (not a company, just me) , Organic stacking rings by Beth Cyr, pearl and link necklace by Jess LC.

Fall
With boots and a denim jacket, this dress works perfectly for cooler weather.
So, without further adieu, the lucky winner is...

I changed the belt to a thin, navy blue shiny belt from Banana Republic. The purple chrysanthemum ring was made by me and I'm still wearing Beth's rings. Denim jacket from Old Navy and the boots are vintage Frye (I bartered for them!)
