Eureka! It's a dog bed solution

So as you may or may not know, I've been on the hunt for a dog bed that I can live with both visually and monetarily speaking. I was feeling really discouraged one day before our big move, and I brought it up to B. His response, "Why don't we just get a papasan cushion." Ding, ding, ding, ding HELLO! Sometimes I need to give B more credit and if I had brought this up to him earlier, I would have saved myself much needed time in my endless search for the perfect dog bed. That night we made a trip to our local Pier 1 and much to my satisfaction, returned with two reasonably priced, stylish "dog beds." Even better, the cushion is so big that our both of our furry monsters fit on it w/space to roll around. We saved one of them for back up in case Bella decides to eat the bed (which will happen eventually).
Ours were on sale for $45 a piece, but I think they're usually $60. We have one in green and the other in brown (both work nicely in our light blue bedroom).
Here's a patterned option that wasn't in the store, but may be worth ordering online:
Do you have chewer? The outdoor cushions may be the way to go. They're a bit pricier but will last longer.
Coral Outdoor Papasan Chair Cushion $100
My dogs have been sleeping on their cushion for a few weeks now (no complaints!)

Dog beds please

I am completely paralyzed in that I have not done ANYTHING for this move. I haven't really bought anything (I have ordered the paint, kudos for me); B found a three dollar lamp base at a local thrift store (kudos for him), but really, we haven't done a whole lot. The fact is, I don't WANT to do anything until I have to, which is not a mature thing to do, but I don't really care. I might kick myself in the ass when the time comes to move and we are unprepared, but for right now, I want to drink my beer, watch the Dog Whisperer, and look at pretty things online. I'm hoping this beer will wash away the guilt of being so lazy.
I know that finding a couple of dog beds would make me feel productive. If you don't own a dog, let me preface this by saying that cute, modern dog beds are friggin expensive so I'm having a hard time finding two I can afford. I don't sew which doesn't help my dilemna, but here are a few of my finds.
I love the beds by Jax and Bones (I've posted a bed by them earlier). They offer a variety of patterns, which is helpful b/c pattern reveals less dirt.

"Illusion" $99 - $170

"Zen" $99-$199

"Willow" $99-$199

I can drool over these all I want, but unless I want to make the dogs share an x-tra small bed (hey, that doesn't sound like a bad idea) I better start looking at some other options.
I like this bed b/c it's a neutral color and the denim would make it a little tougher than normal dog beds.

"Premium Denim Dog Bed" large $89 and L.L. Bean sells replacement covers.

This is a large pillow "orthopedic" bed for only $46.85! The dog silhouette adds a little something extra.

Suggestions anyone???

Falling out of the wrong side of bed

I wonder if some days are simply destined to stink. I generally don't subscribe to the idea that if you have a bad morning you're doomed for an even worse day. I'd like to think that with a positive attitude, some breath mints and greasy food, anything is possible. Today seems to be defying my normal "pick yourself up and have a good day" mentality. It started w/a shaky hangover (thank you keith and Gossip Girl), a late start to work, an icky morning involving a sorority house, almost getting hit by a car (while walking), a pointless meeting, and being talked down to (which is a regular occurrence and is really grating on my nerves). But alas, I have had a greasy slice of pizza, I'm armed with breath mints and I'm working on the good attitude which has vastly improved since my lovely lunch with Michelle and Shannon. So in an effort to cheer up, I'm going to post about some of my favorite beds/bedrooms:

Ahhh, maybe I should go to back to bed and start the day over...now just for a good excuse to give the boss.
