Hair Inspiration for Spring

I desperately need to figure out new ways to wear my hair. I recently got bangs (which I love) and my hair is growing, but I am having a hard time getting creative with it. It's either down or in a ponytail and I need a Spring pick me up. I think I'll start with A Cup of Jo's hair tutorials and then maybe I can gain enough skill to move on from there. Or not. Any suggestions?

i'm hearing you. i'm in a hair funk myself, it's long but just straight, no bangs and i'm contemplating bangs too. i LOVE the cup of jo hair tutorials. they all look super easy! ;) have fun with yours...

I have the opposite problem; just finished growing out bangs and now have no idea what to do besides a basic middle part! I totally sympathize.

Thanks for giving me this inspiration. I have been sport one too many ponytails as of late. These are easy fixes. And since I am always sporting one day dirt hair...lol....this is right.up.my.alley!!! Cute stuff...

I'm so not a girly girl. I recently chopped off 13 inches because I had no idea what to do with it, and now my hair is just touching my shoulders again and it's all deep parts and pony tails. Boring!

Post whatever you do. Good luck!

So beautiful! And I just chopped mine, it was in the way so I donated. I like long hair in winter best, in summer I love how cool it feels to have less.

I just discovered a blog called Hair Romance. She's Australian and it's given me the dose of inspiration I needed for my hair. x

They are all lovely! I know what you mean - my hair's quite long at the moment too but I just wear it out as everything else is not quite right or "me". Maybe that twist/ roll is the way to go?

Am experiencing a similar predicament...my hair is getting longer, but isn't quite long enough to pull off anything too complicated or elaborate. So I just leave it loose or in a ponytail, which is the exact opposite goal I'd had in mind when deciding to let it grow out.

That being said, I probably don't have the dexterity to pull off anything too complicated, either!

Please share your experiments....it'd be great if you also shared how easy/hard it was to do!! (for those of us who are hopeless!)

I tried those hair coils and well lets just say follow directions make sure you don't interlock them.

no matter how simple they made it sound/look, i've given up hope on ever honing the skills to do anything fancier than a pony tail. and i don't think i'll like the feel of day-old hair on myself. dirt looks good on blogs and magazines and on other girls only.

Love these! They are so fresh and simple. This may just be me, but I like to do a bun before going to bed, and then in the morning I have the perfect "tousled" look. Might be worth a try!

I just tweeted you this but after seeing this post, I did my hair like the picture 2nd from the top and it was so easy to do and wear.
