  2. Re: #1, as a person who lives near Tartine, I can verify that indeed everything there is delicious. Here in SF they're most beloved by locals for their croissants and their morning buns . . . but seriously everything there is good. Often on the weekends, there's a line all the way around the block! It's crazy.

    And I have listography and love it :)

  4. I'm giving The Colonel, it's about Elvis's apparently crazy manager. My boyfriend did ask for it a while ago, I'm hoping he's forgotten all about it now so he'll be surprised.

    I'd like to receive one of the Penguin clothbound classics, but I don't think it'll happen.

  5. i love books! they are such great things to give as gifts! and my amazon wish list is 4 pages long, and it is mostly comprised of BOOKS!
