Interiors: Creamy Natural
In sharp contrast to my post yesterday, I'm offering up some casual, comfortable, soothing, creamy neutral spaces. The versatility in these spaces show us that sandy beige, off white, and pale yellow work with any aesthetic to create a space that depends less on sharp lines and more on soft comfort. Assuming one day B and I have a house of our own, I will be definitely be utilizing these spaces for inspiration.

Love love these images especailly the bedrooms. Would love to see a soft ethereal work of art above the second bed :)

love the initals!
ReplyDeleteYou can make this happen in your space now.
ReplyDeleteI do it with organic cotton sheets, and muslin curtains with match stick blinds, that light the softer light in, burlap silks and flokati rugs.
Cheers!
Soooo soothing. I love how all the framed pics are arranged.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
just love that first room!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, so soothing. I love cream, especially an all-cream (or all white room). Sadly, the dogs will never allow for a cream sofa or light floors. But it's a good trade-off, I do love my pups!
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd image is the headboard of my dreams....perhaps a different color, but it is definitely what we want for our next bedroom design!
ReplyDeleteso comfy and I love how all the rooms are "unstyled".
ReplyDeleteA creamy natural looks delish. It is a great neutral background that gets a lot of mileage. You can easily change it based on season or decor design. It can go from traditional to contemporary to modern with simple subtraction or additions.
ReplyDeletecreamy is looking so DREAMY!!!!

I used to scoff at cream interiors but now am growing to appreciate them more and more. Not sure I can ever overcome my floral pattern addiction however.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I'm so sorry I haven't visited in such a long while. But I'm glad to see the blog looking so great. You have amazing blogging stamina, Christina!
Loving creamy natural....also loving dark interiors with gray and black...Now the question is can I successfully combine the two? :)
ReplyDeletehave a nice weekend!
i love neutrals in rooms.
ReplyDeleteNice. It gives me hope that my off-white (and getting more off than white as the years go by) can look good.
ReplyDeletelove those pics..really shows that creamy can be ok if done right, and not plain jane at all. great post.
ReplyDeleteThat headboard is delicious and the wallpaper behind it is yummy too.
