Bye bye long weekend, hello work week (grumble, grumble). Luckily, I'm starting this week off on a bright note with another installment of Orange Crush, a monthly collaboration between myself and From the Right Bank. I understand that many of us might be vigorously shaking our heads at the idea of using orange in our wardrobe or in our homes, but you can't deny the beauty of bold orange flowers. Orange might be a tricky color to use, but nobody does orange as well as mother nature herself.
I don't know about you, but I think these orange flowers are the perfect pick me up to start the work week (that and a gallon of coffee). Don't forget to check out Ally's Orange Crush post!

Orange poppies are my personal favorite. Such intense, rich color. Thanks for sharing your flower inspiration!
i just painted the ceiling of my hallway red-orange after your last orange crush post and only just put the two together, but i'll paint anything orange that'll hold still, so maybe i can't hold you to blame ;)

Stunning images! I plant as many orange flowers as I can get away with in my garden. Right now my daylilies and zinnias are in bloom, and they make me so happy :)
