Happy Weekend

via fatheed
I've decided that not working regularly (thankfully my old company has kept me on part time while we adjust to our new surroundings) has made me a rather lazy person. There's something about not having a demanding schedule that's made me not want to do anything. Exercise? Nah. Fixing up the house? Nah. Organizing my life? Why bother? As much as I've enjoyed this time at home, I am ready to be productive again! Thankfully, my new job starts next week, so I'll be readjusting yet again to a new schedule. I don't know what this means yet for the blog, but I promise, I'll do my best to keep up.

What are your plans for the weekend? This is B's birthday weekend (happy birthday B!) and we'll be meeting his parents in Charlotte for a short visit tomorrow. I've never been to Charlotte so I'm looking forward to seeing it. Are any of you familiar with Charlotte? Any restaurants you'd recommend?
Have a great weekend! xo

I understand the lazy feeling, and the worries about a new schedule. I am starting a new job myself on Monday. Good luck and have fun in Charlotte.

I don't know why being busy makes it so much easier to stay that way, but it does. I'm going camping this weekend and it's going to be cold enough for hot drinks. Mmmm.

Charlotte is the largest banking center in the world. Random, but those people aren't really the pack-a-sandwich sort, so it's full of nice places to eat. Hit the banking district and peruse if you can't find anywhere else.

Have a great time!

I'm the exact same way - If I have a day with nothing I *have* to do, it seems like I just don't do anything at all! But on a busy day I'll manage to fit in all kinds of extra tasks. I think it's easier to get a lot done when you already have that momentum going.

Good luck at your new job next week!!

Have fun in Charlotte! I recommend "Table 274" - their food was to die for, great service! It's tucked away, but don't be fooled by the location (off Sharon Amnity Road) :)

I hear you! If I don't have the pressure of time or a deadline I find all sorts of ways to be unproductive and basically nothing gets done. lol. These down times are great though enjoy sounds like you will be busy again soon xox

hah, I love that photo, so cute!

& I so feel yah. I swear it gets harder and harder to work from home, harder to resist the urge to just lounge on the couch all day. The fall season tends to kick my "get productive" back into gear, like I'm all excited to get back to school or something, but I've definitely been there! I think you just needed a break, from everything, for a little while. New job next week- cool!
