Interiors: Bathrooms + Small Shelving
I recently came across two bathrooms, both with pretty clawfoot tubs and super small shelving to facilitate the display of small objects. What a sweet idea.
Granted, neither of these have the obligatory shower curtain, but I really like this idea for a vacation home and who needs a shower curtain when you're vacationing. Right?

my life will not be complete untill i'm the proud owner of a clawfoot tub! - i actually saw a movie last nigth - and they had one in their yard and the kids used it like a "swimming pool" .. i thought to myself - WHAT a clever idea!!! .. and it didn't look trashy either - was very country chic in a way! - and to think i'm SO not country, yet i loved it!

Love this idea! And what perfect timing.
My mom won a set of 3 tiny shelves from The Container Store and she gave them to me.
I've been trying to figure out what to do with them, and just this weekend I physically took them into every room in my apartment looking for a good spot. My master bath seemed like the best place. Except, did I really want tiny shelves in the bathroom? What could I put on them?
And you just answered my question! I think it's decided. :)

I love pretty bathrooms! The shelves & tubs in these two bathrooms really make me envy the people who get to use them.
I really like the look- espeially with the second one where the sea shells take on an almost wall paper like quality.
I thought shower curtains were obligatory because they stopped the water from making a HUGE mess- Drives me nutz when my monkeys take a shower in our guest bath (closests to the pool) and mess with the curtain so that it make a pool on the floor.

Definitely a place to display items and I like the look but I wonder if visitors would never come out.

super cute! but i would hate dusting these shelves. GOD I HATE DUSTING. i just hate it. i have way too much stuff on shelves and the dusting is ANNOYING AS HELL. grumble grumble.
