My personal vanity, or as some like to say, "dressing table" is a makeshift vintage sewing table and even though I rarely use it for getting ready in the morning, I still love the idea of it. These pretty, neutral vanities are bathed in light and offer a small refuge before beginning long days where personal time is, most likely, rare.

I love the floors in the first picture!
The second image is so refreshing with the light pouring in!

p.s. Just checked out the bits of your home on Plush Palate...so pretty!
having room for one would be fantastic!
These vanities are oh so delicious! My favorite is the top images....it's so cozy. And a big thank you for sharing YOUR vanity on Plush Palate and linking to it today!
Have a great day,
Crystal
You have made it official for me. I must paint my room completely white. I had thought about an orange wall but I think I want to paint my own pieces and display on the wall.

great post!
I love vanities..but whenever I've had one, I don't end up using it and it becomes a place to catch junk.
Congrats to Jilian!
I have my Grandmother's old vanity and it is exquisite. Someday, I am going to have it refinished... and perhaps white would be a good choice after seeing these!!
Ohh these are so pretty!! I want a vanity table one day so bad! Congrats to the winner too! =)
In our next home, I'm definitely creating my own little pretty vanity nook!
You know, white is quickly becoming my favorite color! xoxo
I've always wanted a vanity like in the first picture! I love all the natural light too!

these vanities look perfect! I need to find a place for one in my new house for sure :)
I love the 2nd one... I am dying for a vanity in my room! No place in my apt for one now though.
oh how i need one of those!!!!!!!
I had one as a little kid, but I never had room for one once I moved out. I would love to own one again one day. Every woman deserves a place to sit and get ready, even if it's just putting on chapstick.
I absolutely love the first one and all the light that comes in the room from that window, oh to have a gorgeous vanity table
Gaaaaaaasp! I love the one with the plantation shutters!
#2 is my favorite! i think i would sit there all day looking out the window! lovely!
i don't have a vanity. i just don't have room. i am tacky and i put my makeup on at the dining room table. it has the best light and lets me spread out my gazillion products. hahahaha
I quite like the craziness of the "simply grove" pic. It would be nice, really, to have any of these dressing tables. I've got to work on this....
They are so girly and I love them. We're redoing my little gal's room and I'd love to fit one it.
hello! found your oh-so-pretty blog through you are my fave. (i'm definitely going to follow)
lovely post! i have the urge to do makeup for hours now ;)
the third one down is so pretty with all the pictures surrounding it. I think its always lovely to have a little girly area!
Somehow I think getting ready at one of these would make me look better in the morning (and I can use the help!)
The Vanity was once our "Altar"...then it was switched to the toilet tank. Bad move. We need our rightful place back. Well done.
