An interior and a mood

via Domino via here

Are you wondering what these interiors all have in common?  Well, I'm always intrigued by how the interiors I'm drawn to reflect my current mood.  Currently I'm seeking comforting spaces (away from the pollen), I'm feeling bold yet restrained, and I'm definitely tense.  Can you sense a theme within these spaces?

There's a sense of protection in these spaces, with the canopies over the beds.

This might be out there.. but I think there is a purple accessory in ever room, or just a main part... so just something purple haha.

I'm so sorry about the pollen! I know how you feel, it is terrible in Nashville too!

I love the canopies, such a simple design, but it really pulls the two rooms together, even though they look so different overall. As for what all the rooms have in common...i'm stumped :)

The last shot of the pink bed is dynamite! I shall call it "industrial princess" :)

Yes on the theme - and also perhaps a strong sense of boundaries? Direction? There are a lot of bold stripes!

I like the all white painted room & the pop of color on the fresh flowers!

I am drooling over the pink bed and that black and white striped make shift canopy is adorably frenchie.

A pop of color against basic neutrals? I hear you on allergies - my eczema is flaring like mad!

These high ceilings have me lusting over these rooms, too. I especially love the white Domino one. AH! Gorgeous.

Hope your allergies aren't too bad (I feel your pain, friend).

My allergies are running rampant as well- it is driving me mad. On the flip side, these interiors are lovely. Great way of linking such different images. Ciao, SKH

You know, there is a sense of tension in some of theses rooms, although not really in a bad way. And the white room, happy sigh...

Sorry to here you're feeling tense and allergy-riddled. Me too. I still sniff the blooms in my yard though (then sneeze).
