Ready for Fall: Purple + Grey

This fall, I think I'm most excited about pairing deep plums and smoky greys to create a moody, sultry palette. Here are my picks for (almost) under $100!
Graphic Floral U-Neck Cardigan $79.50

via Martin + Osa
This one is $8.50 over $100 but I had to include because I love it like it were already my own.
Ted Baker Bow Detail Sweat Top $108.50 (here's hoping for a sale).

via asos
This slinky shift would be super easy to wear. I'd pair it with grey tights.
The Post-Punk Dress $69.99

via ModCloth

J.Crew has this color combo down.
Ruffled San Remo Cardigan $98

via J.Crew
I've been wanting a feathered headband. This bright purple would stand out against my dark hair perfectly.
PRIMA purple and guniea feather headband $22

via Feather Brain
What color combos will you be wearing this fall?

**Important! The winner of the Shabby Apple giveaway has still not gotten in touch with me (and I can't find an e-mail address!). If you're out there please contact me before tomorrow or I'm picking another winner.

Great combo - I love grey. Too bad I can't wear it! My other favorite pairing in is grey and yellow - really sharp (but not bumblebee like yellow and black).

I love this color combo. Grey is very chic without being too cliche; I've been gravitating towards it and away from black for a few years now. I love grey and blue as well;)

I just bought some cute purple suede heels and a scarf. I can't wait to pair them with gray!

Oooooh... purple is my favorite color of all time... and purple and grey is a great combo. Sadly, my closet is quite small and does not plan to grown anytime soon, thanks to the student budget I am on.. but I am dreaming of olive greens and browns, rusty reds and carmels, and pinks and chocolate browns.

I'll bet you look fantastic in plum! Gray is my fave color again this season, paired with yellow, pink, any color really.

I also wanted to thank you for your sweet and thoughtful "I'm being serious so listen up" post. I somehow overlooked it until today, so I just now left a comment. You are absolutely the best, and I feel exactly the same way: I'm so thankful to have such wonderful blogger friends as you! I'm not an eloquent writer, so pretty much "ditto" on all of your beautifully written sentiments ;)

i love the j crew number!

i kind of look HORRIBLE in gray, but it doesn't really matter. it is such a super neutral, and it can be paired with anything. hooray!

i think the fall plan includes purples, berries, browns, greens, blues, browns and blacks. some olive green, too, i think.

Grey is certainly one of the IN colours this Fall! I've just posted images of Kate Moss's own Topshop collection for Fall/winter 2009 & grey figures so prominently!

LOvely post!

grey and navy

for "going out"- black and any jewel tones. rich colors, fun vs stuffy, easy enough to accent without being flamboyant.

so so so ready to layer up for fall.

At one time I think almost everything in my closet was gray, I love it. I don't have as much gray now as I did for a while. Purple is a great color to pair with it, lovely fall colors. I am loving that cardigan!!! xoxo

For that price, I wouldn't wish to sweat in that sweat top to be honest! Hahaha. Ok. Corny. I've just been through fall and winter. And the colours I wore the most were - shamefully - black, cobalt blue, and *drum roll* grey and purple! Wohoo
