Neon apparel is one of the trends this season that I think I'd like to pass on. I see neon and I picture raves and hear that song by John Mayer (what was it again?), however, I ran across these shoes at Stuff Under Twenty and I think these could be the neon exception. With a white T and skinny jeans...

I think, if used correctly, neon can be cute. A few years back a lot of Hollywood were adding neon pumps to a black-tee and jeans ensemble and it was very cute.
I think when you start matching your neon shoes with your neon jewelry and your purse and your shades... it's much too much!

I think neon, in small doses, can definitely work. I would definitely keep it to a shoes and accessories personally. I love those orange flats, they would be such fun to wear :)

Neon reminds me of my skating rink days, trying to dress in as much as possible in order to glow under the blacklights near the breakdancing boys... Quite the memory! Maybe as an accent though?? But I'm still a little hesitant to embrace it.
those look more like pastels to me. when i think of neon, i think of the hot pink and green racing stripes that were on my spandex shorts i wore in elementary school. i was so awesome then.
