Restrained Turquoise

Turquoise is undoubtedly one of my favorite colors, period. Since Pantone announced Turquoise as the official color of 2010, it's been everywhere (which makes me oh so happy).  I've found some spaces that use this lovely color in perfect restraint, either on a wall, a frame, the floor, or in bits and pieces of decor.  There's no need to go overboard, a touch here and there do a lot to freshen up a space.

I think the turquoise painted floor is my favorite.  What do you think?  If you could pick a color for 2011, what would it be?

  3. Mmm, I love turquoise, especially pale turquoise with yellow and have found myself adding it to my gray and white kitchen--a glass vase and a little turquoise & yellow print have cheered me up so much lately. So I guess my answer would be pale turquoise!

  4. I have what used to be my boring beige limestone bathroom, painted in a bright, refreshing and cheerful ...Tiffany turquoise!

It makes that start of our day, come alive gracefully, and easily.

    We love it.
