The mix of old and new, modern and classic, streamlined and elegant is exactly what I'd like to eventually like to achieve in my own home. These spaces, photographed by Dylan Thomas (as seen on Desire to Inspire) walk that precarious line and do so quite nicely.

I can almost see story here...a story of found objects and pop culture, a story of a whimsical nature where worlds don't collide but rather fuse into a well designed, thought out environment.

How fun is that pink chair? I'd never have the nerve to purchase one like that, but I do love how it pops!
