Interiors: Bits of Ochre
If you're looking for a little more drama, ochre becomes even richer when combined with purple.
On a side note, have you checked out my tumblr page lately? There are lots of yummy interiors over there as well.

Interiors: Tapestries
What could be easier than a tapestry to some color, pattern, texture to a space? Not only are they super versatile, they're also easy to move around (or hide) when that need to redecorate hits you, as it inevitably will. I think the third space's neutral version is my favorite. What about you?

Interiors: White-walled workspaces
You like my alliteration there in the title? You can thank my restful weekend for that one. So do any of these spaces actually make you want to work? No? Me neither. The white walls (or off white in some examples) are fresh and anything but boring. #8 is definitely my type of workspace - just enough clutter to make it functional. I also really love the embroidery display in #2. Such a sweet collection. Any particular space catching your eye?

Two Spaces (Pale Blue)
Pale blue is such versatile color for the walls (I loved working with it in this room). Here are two recent favorite examples of just how versatile this lovely color can be. Love the rustic/eclectic charm.

writing desk
Do you remember a time when desks weren't covered in cords and giant computer screens? I'm not sure I do but I know such a time existed. It's almost rare to see a desk dedicated to writing, even if the writing consists of paying bills. Sometimes I get tired of all of the electronics regardless of how convenient they make my life. As I type these words, I'm wondering when it last was a I sent someone a handwritten letter. Maybe I need a penpal. Or maybe I just need to step away from the computer once a week. Either way, I know I need a desk like the ones above in my life. Paintbrushes and all please.

Interiors: Warm Mint
Aren't these interiors just easy on the eyes? They're all emitting a sort of warm glow. It's hard to tell if it's due to photo editing or the combination of cool green and warm peaches and browns (perhaps a bit of both?). Either way, I think this color palette is soothing to the soul.

Interiors: Functional Little Shed
This lovely little workspace (4'x6' to be exact) was outfitted last summer by Artemis - talented blogger, jewelry designer, and vintage curator. After seeing what Artemis was able to do with an itty bitty space, I will never again complain of not having enough space to work with. Wow! You must check out the 'before' shot and read about this renovation. Isn't this work space amazing?
