Paintings by San Francisco based artist Clare Elsaesser. You might have heard of her shop Tastes Orangey on Etsy where you can buy affordable prints or original paintings. I especially like this series featuring the sea- there's something endearing about the figures' facelessness, almost as though they were shy and hiding among the bold, thick paint strokes of their environment. Gosh, I need to get to the ocean asap. In the meantime, work like this will keep me daydreaming...
