I've been recently loving ceramic, porcelain, and glass kitchenware that looks like disposable packaging. Besides being good for the Earth, these cheeky, reusable pieces make a fun statement in the kitchen. I wouldn't mind starting a little collection of "disposable" pieces starting with those cute market baskets. What about you?

i love the way they look too! only problem is, until we start going places exclusively without packaging, most of them aren't really necessary. hopefully i'll get there soon!
loving all of these picks! i'm trying to look at the amount of packaging is involved with things i purchase and saying no to a bag when i don't need one. thanks for the great new finds...;)
ha! number 6 is in today's post and i cannot wait to buy 7 for my mommy who eats berries every morning.
This is a great green trome l'oeil round up! Good work!
love this post! what a fantastic round-up! xoxo jcd :: cornflake dreams
Cute! Summer has the turquoise egg crate and it makes her fridge look so much cuter.
Like that egg crate!
great collection—love these ceramic takeout containers!
I am really a fan of the glass waterbottle. I have been using Nalgene bottles and they get a funky organic smell which is terrible. I also don't like to think about plastic leaching into my water if it sits in the sun.
love it all. great collection!
