Hi friends! Are you ready to spring forward this weekend? I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to longer days as I always feel more productive when the sun stays out a little longer. B and I will be having a quiet weekend at home, catching up on chores and such. I'm also reading a really good book right now and I hope to make an even bigger dent in it.
Speaking of books, I wanted to thank Lisa Kim, author of Confession of a Call Center Girl for having D&OC make a cameo appearance in the book! How fun!
Aside from the general jolliness of it being Friday, I'm deeply saddened by the devastating news about Japan this morning. My thoughts go out to all of those affected by the tsunami in Japan, Hawaii, and California.
Enjoy your weekend and don't forget to change those clocks! xo

Thanks for the book suggestions. Awesome! I am now on Spring Break (Yes--at 30) haha--but I am ready to read a good book. So sad about Japan---Japan, Hawaii and Cali will all be in my prayers.
Happy weekend.
Good book suggestions. I need to find one again!
Happy Friday! Hope the weekend is a good one for you. And thank you for the birthday wishes {as far as I'm concerned, it lasts for a few weeks so you're still in time!}

It is really saddening fact about the tsunamis and earthquake calamities from other countries. Lets get our prayers and help reach them.
what a fab picture! and the lighter nights are fab, but BOY was it brutal getting up at 5:45 this morning.
and this tragedy in japan is just so awful. i can't turn away and it is just so hard to see it all. makes you feel so small and vulnerable, and my heart sure goes out to the folks impacted by the devastation. :[
