The Peter Pan collar became popular in the early to mid 20th century having been donned by women and children alike. Since then, it's mostly been worn by children but that doesn't deter me from loving it or wearing it for that matter. I realize this look isn't for everyone but I welcome the cheeky, girly, retro Peter Pan collar with open arms. What do you think? Is this a trend best left behind along with your school girl uniform?

I love collars of all styles, Peter Pan included, but I definitely have to be in the right mood to wear one, as well as have the right coordinates. Sometimes it feels too girly, and I never know what kind of necklace to wear with it!
I just love those collared blouses...and that blue dress in the first picture is pure loveliness!

The great thing about Peter Pan collared shift dresses is that they suit nearly every body shape. A total classic.
These are so cute, I'm looking for ones that show a little more neck, the crewneck ones do not flatter me!
No way! Peter Pan collars are cute for any age and gender. They add a nice delicacy to any outfit.
Anyway, my school uniforms were ugly, boxy white polo shits. I can never wear a polo again!
