Interiors: Bohemian Wall Collections
Typical art walls with perfectly framed pieces can get a little boring to me. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate symmetry and balance, but I also love the look of layered collections and objects especially on colorful walls. Are you equally enticed by these artsy, bohemian interiors or do you prefer more "designed", traditional art walls?

Blogger seems to be having some issues today publishing comments. I can see them in my e-mail but they're not showing up on the site. Sorry for the weird and annoying inconvenience.

love love love the bathroom boh... my fav the green/birds not so much! thanks for the pics diane
I love these! Especially the first one. It's refreshing to see something lacking traditional structure.
I'm kind of a less-is-more person at home. But I would love to visit someone's house with a display like this so I could sit and look at every item.
I always thought this style looked so good in homes of people who had tons of 'stuff'. It's not for the minimalist but when done right can be quite captivating!

yes! me too! too much symmetry dulls the senses i say :) you need eclectic, interesting, textures, sizes, shapes, colors, keep it off, keep it un~balances sometimes. love this post!!
I love both types of displays but these really do remind me of what you'd see in the home of an artist or in their studio. Love it! : )
I like the varied object but I've only been able to pull that off once.
My first apartment had interior stairs and the wall was decorated with all types off oddities.
These are great. I'm doing some re-decorating now and seeing these pictures might've been the kick in the pants I needed to finish the walls.
As much as I am loving that first image right now (seriously, the little thumbnail on my blog beckoned me over!), I know I'll end up with a very symmetrical and balanced wall when I finally get mine up. Oh, I'll try to make it random and fun and interesting, but in the end, it will be very straight and thought out and symmetrical.
i once went to a housewarming party where the price of admission was that you brought something that could be hung on the wall. the host just hung stuff up as people arrived. some people brought art, photos, some found objects on their walk there, etc.
I usually like this kinda thing a little better, and I especially love that last one.

Oh how I love all of these rooms. I am a tad OCD on linear and know that I would constantly readjust any display like this in my own home. But it is lovely to look at...
love these walls, each one is so unique and special.
hope you had a great holiday!
xo.

oh my, such lovely inspiration! save these for future reference? don't mind if i do :) thanks for sharing!
Some people make it looks so effortless but if i tried some of these looks, I think I would get some "nice try" comments from visitors.
Love the vintage frameless mirrors! Just Lovely xxx
I agree, 100%! Love your blog and love these photos, especially the first one! Thanks for sharing. I have similar eclectic bohemian walls in my apartment, check 'em out if you'd like at my blog InspireBohemia.blogspot.com.

Love these, first one would be something i wish i could have. and the third image is another lovely room.
I love the 2nd and 3rd rooms! Especially the 3rd, with the old desk and paintings and various framed prints on the purple wall. :)
Honestly? Beautiful.
I LOVE these! Totally reminds me of my parent's house, actually. There is always something new to look at!
Such a beautiful wall decoration, I especially love the first one...
These collections are so cool, although I'd never be able to pull of something like this.
OMG!!! I love these rooms so much!!! Absolutely adore the eclectic wall arrangements. Gorgeous!!!
I like these wall collections, and I like how each starts off with the "chosen" wall color that suits the space, and place, and face.
dang! there is a lot going on here, but it is kind of cool!
my grandma was a whiz at hanging zillions of different types of arts and she had SCRILLIONS of patterns and textiles all over the place, but she made it work so well. i am so sad that i didn't take pictures of her home when she was alive. it was really incredible what she did. and she was a quilter too.
and i am babbling like there is no tomorrow. SORRY FOR THAT!
how did i miss this post!!
love the why the artworks is installed, i am my assymetrical myself. Not into the perfectly balanced look..... the colours are amazingly fun!
