Interiors: Romantic White Canopy Beds

I ran across this bedroom in the June issue of House Beautiful this weekend and would have dropped the magazine had I not already been sitting down.  How lovely is this canopy bed with the gauzy white fabric floating above looking very regal and very romantic?
I decided to hunt down some other white canopy or canopy-like beds with one distinction in mind.  All the beds had to have white draping fabric creating the same feeling of sanctuary.
Aren't these dreamy?

i LOVE em'! - growing up my mom always had a canopy over her bed - so it's one of the "safe" things for me ...

I always wanted a canopy bed, but two things are against it - dust and my cat.

Our new home has very small rooms...the canopy was overpowering. I miss the swag of fabric at the back and I actually had a string of lights wrapped around the back as well. The lights softly illuminated the fabric. I didn't turn the lights on much but at holiday time it sure looked pretty.

I love these white canopies! Our bed actually includes a removeable rail that runs around the top so a canopy can be used but in this home our room is too small to use it which is such a shame - it really gives it a romantic feeling.

So pretty and breezy! Don't think Ryan would let me get away with this, but maybe one day when I have a daughter :)

These are really relaxing. I had one as a kid but as I got older, I felt I needed to be "adult".

That's one of the better canopy beds I have seen! It really is dreamy indeed, I had a canopy bed but then I had to move on to the next city and well the bed here is fine but it certainly lacks the comfort and the sense of freedom and security that I felt in my canopy bed. In fact I have been planning a bit in the back of my head to get one soon, been checking out Car Canopy and some more sites to research. Great pics here :)
