Interiors: White + Wood

Such a simple, natural, uncomplicated combination: white + wood.  This Oxfordshire Barn is beautiful in its simplicity and the combination of white floors, light wooden beams, and stone accents is perfect.  Add a work in leather arm chair, and I'm sold.

I can't decide which room is my favorite. You can see the rest of the house here.  I do adore the white painted floors, but I know if this were my space I'd inevitably add color.  Do you like the simplicity of white and wood or would you prefer a more eclectic space?

Love the space but I would add one very bright colour to give a teensy bit of warmth. Hot pink, purple, maybe lime green.

i adore this space - so simple - and can be jazzed up with just a pinch of color here and there in a snap! ..

I love how airy and relaxed it is! I think I'd definitely vacation here, but probably couldn't live without some color to liven it up a bit. But it would be the perfect place to retreat to for a week.

I think I tend to love it the most in bathrooms and kitchens where I like a really clean feel. Just beautiful inspiration!

I never tire of these types of spaces. They're so serene. And I still dream of white floors. :)

I can appreciate the simplicity (and probably need a room like one of these to relax in), but I am like you and would add color;)

i definitely prefer the simple to the eclectic craziness, though eclectic rooms are fun to look at and can be chic. i just like the clean look of white and black or white and wood. great post!

I prefer simplicity, with pops of color - so much easier to change up with little money spent!

That living room is absolute perfection! And the window/skylight combo in the dining room makes it so inviting. I'm obsessed with natural light flowing through a house (dark houses make me depressed and grumpy). White + wood is my favorite combination - so pure, yet so warm.

This color combo and these rooms remind me of Debbie. :)
