Once upon a time, there was a girl named Christina who didn't like the color purple. For reasons unbeknown to all of her friends and aficionados, she simply did not wear purple nor did she like to see it in any given space. Then, about two years ago, she began to look at the color in a whole new light. She noticed it's versatility, it's many shades and tones, it's moody emotionality. Slowly, ever so slowly, and to everyone's great surprise, she fell in love with the color. And now, she creates pieces, in her humble little Etsy shop to reign in the new season, where colors become less whimsical and more substantial, and where the illustrious purple can take center stage. From earrings, to necklaces, to brooches, the color purple reigns.
B and I were thinking about having a "sober Sunday" and then, obviously, we decided against it. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Purple is so on trend right now that I had to rethink my thoughts on it, too! I've come to love it's regal, deep feel...perfect for a bedroom in my eyes :) Love your etsy shop items!
I really love your mini mum earrings. These are so cute!
Ahaha I love the comment about having a sober Sunday... but not :-) And your pieces are gorgeous! I'm loving purple lately too. Have a great week!
Enjoy your Sunday evening :)

Psychologically, purple is the most creative personality of all colors.
(sorry i always bring up something academic and cheesy each comment, only for you, Christina)
I am so happy you changed your tune about the color purple... it is my favorite!! Your new additions are gorgeous!!
Your new shop additions are beautiful!
The "light conversation" hairpins are so beautiful! I considered a "sober sunday", but a pal of ours boiled king crab legs for an unveiling of his cool renovated basement (my husband helped do the build out). So of course, one must have a few beers with crab. Special occasion! You and B needed to celebrate your promotion anyway, so here's a virtual toast to you, girlie!
AND, thank you so much for your sweet comment about my family's art tiles, Christina! I still have lots of work to do, but I'm having fun with it.
very pretty! i'm like you too i swear. i begun to wear more purples only lately but mostly either pale pale cool purples like lilacs/lavenders or deep and almost blue tones, or warm purples like plums.
Beautiful items! I especially love the earrings! My feelings for purple are very similar to yours, earlier I never even thought about having anything purple, but now I just realized how sumptuous and versatile it can be.. I believe it has something to do with my age ...
Oh I have been the same way. Purple was always my sisters favorite color which made me hate it even more. I now have a lot of appreciation for the color and I actually wear it and design with it! I love your new pieces. Stunning as ever!
ha! same for me! use to loathe purple and i'm now dreaming of a purple dress for the winter. with black tights and stilettos.i can see it in my head...
btw i love you dangle earins!
