As the saying goes...opposites attract. Sometimes. In the case of industrial kitchens combined with sweet, girly pastels, I'm sold.

Industrial lends itself best to opposites, no? Remember wood + metal and what a happy marriage they made? What do you think? Are these kitchens too sugary-sweet for you or are they finding a nice, stylish balance?

What a pretty blue kitchen. And I'm not normally into blue.
I think there is great balance going on. That first kitchen is to-die-for as far as I'm concerned!
ahem...i'm sold too! by gawd these are gorgeous! and i don't even like pastels.
I love the 1st one, But the finger prints on the metal might kick my ass.
These are awesome... I love the combo of styles!!!
No way to sugar sweet. Love them both. Great post. Great style balance.
love love the 1st image...
Love the second kitchen, especially with that vase of bright red poppies on the table!
They re happy!
Top kitchen is to die for - that pretty pink Venetian (type?) light is doing my head in!!
I love the look of these kitchens...but sadly I am not rich and fear I would get tired of the look quickly...I'll stick to white cabinets!
Well what girl doesn't love a tiffany turq! Lovely kitchen. I'd do it, but add more accents of white :)
Steel grey with cotton candy is one of my most favorite color ways.
i do like these looks. Wouldn't commit to the colors, but looks good in someone else's kitchen!
Love the first kitchen. I've been obsessing over that shade of blue lately and it looks great with the steel and pink.
Gorgeous kitchens! You make me want to paint...
I think they're both gorgeous, especially the second one! I'm fickle about color though, so I tend to keep my color on the walls and in the artwork (where it's easy to change).
I'm not usually a fan of pastels like the first picture, but I am loving it with the great balance that the metal offers.
Lovely!
ohhhh i love it!
if i had my way there would be chandeliers in every room of my house! i love the way it unexpectedly compliments the stainless steel.
oh wow, I love the color balance of the pastels!
great kitchen designs. I have been trying to decide how to design mine.... and there are so many great idea's out there.
I love that first one! That turquoise color is awesome.
what a good combo, I like it!
mint green! i like both kitchens. but i really don't prefer 'cold' colours for the kitchen.
That first kitchen is fabulous! Love the matte mint green paint with the steel.
i LOVE the first kitchen!!! i actually had a dream last night about painting my room that exact same color
i love the second kitchen:) Can't take my eyes off it !
I'm a huge fan of boy-colored pastels (e.g. non pink, purple) even though that's horribly mean to my gender. At least that way they're not too frouffy.
These kitchens look amazing!
Oh the blue cabinets are very glossy, I love it. It looks so neat and clean.
I love the pink kitchen chandelier, it looks so cute.
I want a vent-a-hood like that... I'm not normally a pastel girl but these are nice. I like the hues.
i am GAGA for the metal, but not so much the pastel.
I am loving these!! hello...new plan to revamp kitchen hehehe
Ah love the first kitchen. Don't know that I could pull it off, but it's so pretty...
