My favorite class in college was Horseback riding 101. I'm not kidding, this class really did exist, I really took it, and it really was my favorite class. If I had the means, I would ride horses regularly. Although it's a scary experience for me, it's exhilarating and you really work you inner thighs (*cough, cough.) Anyway, Equestrian style clothing is everywhere- form fitting, neutral palettes, tall riding boots, the works. Has this trend translated to the home yet? I'm not so sure, but I did find some equine odds and ends that are pretty rad, all under $50.
First though, here's some inspiration...

I'd hang my necklaces from this cheeky beauty.
horse hanger, lime, extra large $35

In case you're not looking for a big statement, this small brass figurine would do the trick. Perfect for a bookshelf.
Vintage Brass Horse Figurine $18
via Buppins
Perfect for a little girl's room. I've never used decals but I imagine they're an easy alternative to painting a space if your looking for a small change.
Carousel Vinyl Wall Decal $40

How much cuter would this be than an average office wall clock?
Mini Wall Hanging Clock- Horse

Flossy the Pony Embroidery Floss Bobbin $12

Beyond awesome post seriously. Still a bit confused about the horseback riding 101 class, but totally think its awesome! I love horses. My dad always took me to visit the horses when I was little. I really like the Carousel Vinyl Wall Decal, and Vintage Brass Horse Figurine...ohh what am I saying! I love them all!!
Fabulous Christina! :)

for some reason, the pics in the first image are totally cracking me up! :)
I love the lime horse hanger and the embroidery bobbin - great gifts ideas, too!
horseback riding 101??? BAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!! that is funny. my favorite class was anatomy, what does that say about me? maybe i don't want to know...
so horsies! love 'em. my favorite is that big horse head on the door. is it a knocker?? i may need to purchase it.
love the small brass horse.
he would look great in our den :)
Horses have always scared me! They're such giant creatures...I much prefer cats! But these are great, non-scary finds. I especially love that clock!
What college did you go to? I am obsessed with riding and was on my Varsity Riding Team in College. Love these horse products and especially the horse pictures from Elle Decor!
Its funny, because I've slowly moved most the horse stuff I have out of my room. I had a lot of stuff though, and if I keep it all I will look like a crazy horse lady or something. I rode and showed horses for 10 years and just recently stopped, because i don't really have time now that I'm finishing up with college.
It really is great exercise. I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted in high school cause i rode all the time. Now i have to go to the gym and work out on the elliptical, which is not nearly as fun!
Love the brass horse!
You must be very brave to ride a horse, I've only ever ridden ponies and that was centuries ago when I was around eight (and they scared me then too)!
loved reading this post, you always have something delightful and interesting here!! I'm lusting after that little fuchsia couch!!! :)

The carousel decals are too cute!
tee hee! i have some old crusty rusty horse heads in my kitchen. they are smallish and can serve as a hanging thingie for dishtowels, but i keep them out in all of their glory. and i have a a bull head one, too. and a doorknocker one too. i am not explaining this well at all, but yay for horsey stuff.
lovin the horses! what's not to love? :)
Love horses! I'm working on designing some horse fabric at the moment in different colours. I think everyone I know will get a horse cushion for Christmas this year, hehe.
very godd idea that post about horses. I love the vinyl wall decal.

I can't believe that was a class....too cool!!! I love equestrian things...timeless really.
adorable..
I've always been a fan of black & white horse photography. I think they are just so gorgeous.
Great equestrian inspirations! My Godfather (who is now deceased) was a Charro (rode in the Rose Parade one year) and he would sometimes let us ride his horses and it was such a scary thrill. Gorgeous elegant creatures. I love the horse hanger so much. Off to follow link now...
I love horse riding too - however I've had one two many spills on them so while I adore them technically - in the flesh I find them super scary creatures!! But I totally know where you're coming from!! Lovely horsey things here! P.S. Use "Scuttlebutt" with gay abandon sweetie!!
im not necessarily a fan of real horses - but i love these pieces!
ha! i would have seriously killed someone to be able to go to a school that offered horse riding 101!
i can just imagine the sexy boots! oh yes! love it!
What an adorable post! Love your finds!
To be honest I have never thought about it, but I do like your choices!!!
i don't mind horses as accessories, but in real life i find them a bit scary...
You really took that class! wow, Im soooo jealous!!! And... I love the Vinyl Wall Decal ... and that pink sofa in the photo???? where can I find that sofa??? ;O)
Lovely post!
Love that horse head iron hanger! And I'm totally envious of the horseback riding class. I took a couple of classes that were a blast: gymnastics & aquatics (learning how to teach little kids how to swim and do cartwheels and such), and racquet sports (we played tennis, racquetball, and badminton).
