Weekend vintage-y goodness

Working my normal Saturday shift at the vintage shop always give me a hankering for more vintage goods. I thought I'd share some of my recent favorites with you...
This black dress has a beautiful embellished neckline. It's surprisingly modern.

Creme and burgundy is a quintessential retro color combination and one I never get tired of.
vintage 50's Joan Holloway wiggle dress $68

If you know how to adjust them correctly, clip ons are incredibly comfortable. Read more about clip ons here.
Pale Pink and Gold Flowered Clip Earrings $5

Vintage Coach bags can be found at reasonable prices and I'm really wanting one. I'm currently liking this bucket shape which would be able to hold all my magazines and then some.
Slouchy Coach Bucket Bag $52

Neck ties are so easy to wear and very fun to layer (think cardigan or v neck sweater).
70's Vintage Tie Up Blouse $23

So, after finally succumbing to much peer pressure by a certain someone, I've decided to join Twitter. I know, what more do I have to say?

How I will have any time for it, I don't know. But if I'm going down, I'm taking you with me. So let's tweet together, ok?!

{the pigeon hairpins can be found here. they're my current favorites!}

Twittering is so fun! Clip ons. Wow. I had some gorgeous purple dangly ones but they hurt my ears so much. I never thought to loosen them or anything but now, I might dig them out. This was such a great post and I realise I like a lot of the vintage features you've just mentioned.

OK, I'm in love with the second dress! I love the black one too, but considering I have more black dresses than I have closet for, I would love to have the second one - that particular style is so flattering.

Christina, good luck with the Twittering.:) I had an account and could just not get into it, nor could I find the time. I struggle with finding time to post 2-3 blogs a week and try and get around to commenting on some of my favs. Maybe one day I'll catch the bug...:)

Happy weekend to you!

xoxo

That top dress is a knock out!! A little Mad Men-esque dare I say it? Perhaps I see everything this weekend as Mad Men-esque though because I am living and breathing season two!

How fun to work at a vintage shop!! And I am honestly intimidated by Twitter. I just don't get it... that probably makes me old.

Great online finds! Especially the first dress, reasonably priced too.

I am very much following you on Twitter now! :) Though I still don't know how to use it properly...

Happy tweets Christina, my clients at work kept finding me on Twitter so I beat a hasty retreat and closed my account! Am feeling like the 'Lady in the Dark' today at work so that dress would be perfect for me :-)
