Plate Walls, because you asked for it.

I'd like to begin this post by giving a huge "thank you" to The Cottage Cheese (um, how awesome is this name for a blog?) for being my very first customer last week and then writing this amazing write up on my work. You can see an example of some packaging I did there. I also had a hey day buying materials for packaging at Hobby Lobby yesterday and I'm beginning to wonder if I'm perhaps a little too excited about the look of the packages? Ah, oh well, profit is overrated.

It's that time again, lovely readers, where I display my recently found plate walls for you to roll your eyes over and feign excitement.
Fancy plate wall, perfect for the holiday season.

Gotta love plate walls! I want to do this in my apartment, but I'm so afraid they're going to fall down!

I have bookoos of plates (is that a word)? Boxes. I need to figure out how to display them well and these are good ideas. My problem is that they're all blue and white - and I'm not really decorating with those colors. If you come across any great blue and white displays, let me know!

Thank you so much for linking to my blog (and so many times!). Have I told you lately what a doll you are?

Love the kitchen with the melmac tray plate wall! And how clever that the letters say "ate" instead of "eat". I wonder if they change the letters around before and after meal time.

love the plate wall with the word ATE..lol...so cute!

You now have me properly conditioned to love plates on walls... the kitchen one with the 'Ate' is my fave too. How cute is that? I have a strange attraction to plates with little dividers inside.

I've loved plates on a wall for the longest time ... but keep thinking that by the time I get around to doing it - it's going to be soooo over. Guess I need to get off my duff and just do it...

(I had to laugh at the quote about profit being overrated!! love it!)
