Giveaway: BB Dakota Dress

I am so excited about this giveaway that I had a hard time waiting until today to post it (and, yes, it's a day early due to the holiday weekend). If you haven't heard about the designer online boutique Chickdowntown.com allow me to introduce you. This shop carries a variety of labels, from Marc by Marc Jacobs to more affordable designers like Free People and BB Dakota. When I was contacted by Chicdowntown.com, I knew immediately that a vintage-style BB Dakota dress would be perfect for a giveaway. Here's what I chose:
Moonstone Blue Flawless Dress $71
My choice reflects my own taste in dresses (and you know I can never have enough dresses) and the cut is flattering on most body types. I think it's gorgeous.
In case you question the versatility of this floral number, I've put together a couple of outfits to show you how I would wear it. Since I have a wedding to attend very soon...

The cap sleeves makes this a great dress to wear to work...

This dress is free to one lucky Down and Out Chic reader (um duh)! It's available in all sizes, but the giveaway is only open to U.S. residents (I'm sorry my dear international readers, but don't worry, I'll get you back.) Entry is simple and you can enter up to THREE times:
1) Leave a comment on this post telling me where you might wear this dress if you won.
2) If you add a link to this giveaway via your blog, Facebook, or Twitter you can enter a second comment, therefore, giving yourself a better chance in winning (just make sure you leave TWO separate comments).
3) If you're a follower of Down and Out Chic simply leave a comment telling me so. If you're a new follower please let me know that too!
Make sure to leave separate comments so that you ensure your entries count up to three times! (I'm kind of lazy and don't want to have to do more work than I have to.)
A winner will be picked next Tuesday night 7/7/09.

Happy Fourth of July weekend to you (or just happy weekend, depending on where you are)! I have Friday and Saturday off this week which may be more consecutive days I've had off since I've started this blog...seriously.
I'm planning on catching up on some DIY projects so I hope to have some things to show you soon. Thank you all for being awesome and for sticking with me on this blog journey.
xx,
Christina

Lovely dress. I believe I would wear it (if I could) to a midnight tea party with fairies amid a wood. The trees would be hung with paper lanterns in pastels colors (very light pastel colors). We would dine at a single round table set with a light lace table cloth. Our menu would consist of an array of teas (including flavors like blackberry and honeysuckle) and tiny peti-fores(my spelling of words I'm not familiar with is rather terrible) in an array of flavors. The only downside is I don't like tea but I'm sure the fairies tea would be so amazing I would love it.
