Happy Hump Day everyone. If your week has been anything like mine, Friday is looking like a mean tease that will never put out, ugh. See look, my week has been so yuck I'm being vulgar on my blog, sorry.
I am, however, pretty stoked about this weeks spotlight...
Have you visited with the beautiful blog, On Dressing Up? I remember my first impression of this blog including a couple of things: first, the blogger, Ana B., has a knack for descriptive writing and second, the photographs are not just about cute outfits (although Ana's outfit's are always cute.) In fact, there's usually a little story behind each outfit as told by the gorgeous photography, interesting angles, and unique glimpses into her surroundings.
It's obvious to me that Ana isn't fishing for compliments, she's not flaunting labels, and she sincerely has a sense of personal style. Of the countless blogs centered around ladies taking pictures of themselves and their attire, Ana stands out. (please don't send me hate mail, remember this isn't a good week for me!)
Ana has the beautiful backdrop of New Zealand to work with and, let's be honest, does it get any more beautiful than New Zealand?!
Let's see how Ana answered my three questions...
Describe yourself in three words.
Cheeky cake connoisseur.
If you could have the perfect job, what would it be and why?
If I could make money out of blogging, it would be my perfect job. I love the freedom and creativity. I love being inspired and surrounded by an amazing community full of amazing ladies such as yourself [awww, shucks... (my emphasis)]. And I would also love being able to work in my pajamas!
How would you describe a successful blog and/or what makes a blog successful?
My favourite blogs are inspiring, beautiful, but above all, authentic. Their voices are true, their points of view are real. They make an effort to participate in the blogging community and enter into a dialogue. For me, a blog is successful because of all the above, not because of how many comments it gets or how much hype surrounds it.
Ana, you are truly a doll and thank you so much for participating! Visit Ana here and see for yourself...
Have a lovely day!
