Corny Picks

So I'm not sure I should be allowed to create titles for my posts...they're getting progressively worse. Anyway, summer is in full swing here and B and I enjoyed our first corn on the cob the other night. Buttery, salty, yummy, no health value, corn on the cob. I'm strict about my corn on the cob eating habits, only during the summer, no exceptions. So, since I've been thinking about corn (yes, there are better things to think about but I make no apologies) I decided to round up a couple of products in celebration of the starchy vegetable, non- vegetable.
This could be fun in the kitchen...
Corn Harvest 10x10 linoleum block print $25
I could wear these with my pea pod necklace and have a veggie-themed accessories day. Ha!
Corn Cob Earrings $12
I'd like to add these to my "collection" of note cards.
Corn Note Cards $16
Bring these cupcakes to your next picnic or barbecue to make an impression. What impression that is, I couldn't tell you.
Corn-on-the Cob Cupcake
Oh, and while we're at it, don't forget your peas and carrots.
Vanilla Cupcakes
What's your go-to summer vegetable?
{Be sure to stop in tomorrow for a very fun weekend giveaway!}

YUM!!! Corn on the cob is so good right now, I've had it every evening for 3 days now. It's the one fresh veggie that taste as good as it did when I was a kid. I'm wondering what is under the corn on the cupcakes? Cute idea!

Hope you're having a great week! It's hot here!

xoxo

I love corn on the cob with absolutely no health value! Sooo good! The cupcakes are adorable!

I love avocados. Salt, pepper and I go to TOWN.

The titles of your posts are amazing-when I get on the blogs I'm always drawn over here first! :)

As someone who is often pretty corny, I like your post titles;)

My go-to vegetable is probably chickpeas; straight out of the can and into the salad, no oven required!

I love those earrings. And I have the cookbook that those cupcakes came from! Aren't those just the funniest things you've ever seen!

Your titles are fun!! This was a great post. Those earrings are fun- I found a great vegetable wrap skirt at a thrift store once and despite many comments, I happily wore it often! My favorite veggie right now is cauliflower. With some fresh spinach dip, it's delicious!

Wow too many good things to choose from. For summer veggies, grilled corn (my new thing) is fabulous as well as squash and zucchini. Yummy.

That pea and carrot cupcake is crazy! My favorite summer veg are fresh peas, zucchini, tomatoes, . . . and corn, of course. (And your titles are cute.)

This was the funniest idea for a round-up! I've been feeling the same way about post titles lately. My instinctive titles are SO corny (heh heh). So I say flaunt that wit, girl! Everyone will get a good chuckle.

Corn on the cob - as a meal. No butter. No salt. Eaten outdoors preferably. Hide the cobs. (Evidence of how many you've eaten.)
