Not your grandmother's doily

As my birthday creeps closer (and yes, you will hear about it ad naseum, birthdays are my favorite), my "list" gets longer and longer. My most current want are these doily clocks from Brenda Rose that I first saw on Love it A lot. Doilies can be cool, this is proof.

$28.50
$27
$26
via paper n stitch
B- I know you don't read this blog, but if you do happen to see this, the last two are my favorites. Oh and at the price, maybe we could get both? (pretty please)

I love these. I was actually looking for doily's at a local flea market one day b/c they are coming back in a mad way! I wanted to put one on a pillow for the couch, I had seen it somewhere else. Great finds!

I am obsessed with doilies lately... I have actually been knitting some in rockin' colors and textures! I was going to post them soon. So stay tuned for that...

These clocks are so cool, I have seen a couple like these around the "internets" before, they never get old, so cool!

I love these!! I (being one who NEVER likes to throw something away for fear of needing it for some future craft experiment.) have several plain white doilies. I've been trying to come up with an idea for them.... I may end up trying to fashion my OWN doilie clock! FUN! I'll keep you posted on that... :)

That second one is to die for. A trick to get him to look on your blog is you ask him to proof read your writing. Works like a charm for me. :)

These are so cute! I don't even like doilies, but I like these. Doilies annoy me because they seem so unnecessary and froufy, but using them as a clock design is pretty darn cute.
