Between B and myself, we own A LOT of books. Sadly, for a "style" blogger, I own little in the way of design books. I have art books, yes, but not a lot on interior design (I am proud to say I have the Domino book which I love, love, love). I've made a little list and I'm hoping you, dear reader, can help me narrow it down. I'm thinking these will go on my birthday 'wish list' (it's getting kind of big).

Of these, I have Flea Market style. I love it and highly recommend it! You might also like Bazaar Style which is very similar.
Those look FUN!
I have 3 of those books and really like all of them!! *Jonathan Adlers book is a constant source of inspiration for me *Flea Market Style has a lot of great ideas *The Nest Home Design book has some really good ideas as well. If I had to choose just one, I would go with Adler's but that is just me:)
I may have to put your other choices on my wish list!
I would go for the one on the vintage style because we tend to just pick up things that are just vintagey without a proper idea of what our homes will look like, then they end up looking like a messy thrift store!
i had an ambush giveaway and you won!
That style on a budget book looks super cute! A good way to stock up on ID books is go to the thrift store. Often times it can be outpdated but the really old ones are the best!
I love The Nest magazine, so I know that one would be good. The Budget and Vintage ones look neat too. Let us know what you decide.
the vintage style is awesome! i would prefer that!
i don't have any of these, but that wallpaper magazine is always a treat, so i bet the book would be too!
I love Wallpaper-cool chic!
I've met Jonathan Adler when I was in NY for work...he was very sweet & humble! ps: Yes dear, I made that digital illustration- thanks f the compliment(blush-blush*) ~XO*
All wonderful choices! This may seem like a silly thing to say but you should go to the library. When I was home last week I went to the one in my hometown and it was great to actually spend time flipping through the books before making the big purchase! I just finished Nate Berkus's book--very good and great "how tos".
i want them all!
I have tons of books but, not one of these!
...I will have to correct that fact.
The title alone for Jonathan Adler's...
"Anti-depressive Living"..is a great antidote for the home 'blahs'. We must move to make our dwelling to be living up and above our ideals; why not?!
lovely! Be sure to swing by the Perfect Palette today to enter our give-a-way! Creative packaging made easy by Garnish!
The wallpaper one looks amazing! I also say yes to Jonathan Adler so I say yes to that as well!
What I try to do know to narrow down, but I want to get is go to the library and see if they have it first. That way I can give it a look and see it is really worth the $$$. The library doesn't have everything, but it has helped me a bit.
I love books too, and it is so hard to narrow that list down. I need to get a few of them myself...... the nest home design would probably be my first choice!!
oh! i want to check out the flea market one--sounds great!
good books..you have made me aware! i bet you have a giveaway!
i would definitely go with the jonathan adler. i don't own it nor have i read it, but it just looks cool. i think i might need to put it on MY birthday wish list now!
thanks for reading {and liking - yay!} my blog! i see that you interviewed diana a few posts down. don't you just LOVE her?? i sure do. you have good taste in bloggers! :)
How many interesting books! Thanks for sharing!
Have a great weekend!
Federica
