Oh happy day!

So I received some good news...I was officially accepted into graduate school! Yay! My brother and I were the first in our family to receive our college degrees (my sister will be getting her degree in the spring) and it was certainly a trial as I had to financially support myself throughout, which means it took me a tad bit longer than the average student. I've been out of school for a bit, but I'm so excited to go back. It will take me three years (I'll be done at 29), but I don't care because I'm moving forward!
So to celebrate, I'd like to do a little dance...
Jump for joy!
Run around (if I was on the beach that would be even better!)
But mostly I just have a big smile on my face because I know I've worked really hard to be where I am and I don't take for granted the opportunities I've been given.

Thanks for celebrating this small victory with me! (Oh, and in case you're wondering, I'll be studying social work.) I hope everyone's having a good weekend...

Yay! Congrats to you! That is fantastic! I was feeling like jumping up and down too when I get really excited. At one time, I even had a mini trampoline so I could get the full effect! (and yes, in my adult years this happened)

Christina, this is fantastic!!! Congratulations, friend. I wish you all the best for the next challenge ahead.

I know how difficult it is to 'get through' school [I just finished my degree last spring and I'm currently trying to figure what I'd like to go back for].

I'm doing a happy dance for you. Yay!
