Geninne, a featured shop on Etsy, has some of my favorite bird prints. I should be trying to look for other imagery for sake of variation, but I can't help myself! The pieces are done in watercolor and if you've ever painted with this medium you know how difficult it can be to maintain a sharp, concise line without a bunch of bleeding and muddiness. The artist plays with imagery so the prints aren't just about the birds, but about pattern, color, and in some cases, texture.
