Ugh, I can't decide which room I like better and, as you've probably noticed, I really dislike the feeling of ambivalence.

The vintage suitcases and mannequin are perfection in the first shot, but I really like the pop of pink and the sweet sea foam dresser in the second. This is definitely a great example of what a little styling can do to really define a space. Do you prefer one over the other?
I would have to cast my vote for white...it is always so peaceful looking to me and just conveys a fluffy, restful sleep :)
ReplyDeleteThe first white room.
ReplyDeleteBut with that solid pink bedspread
I'd take the pink duvet and move it to the white. I love the suitcases as bedside table. Brilliant!
ReplyDeletedifficult decision indeed, i love the pink accents!
ReplyDeleteI love the second room - I can imagine it in a east coast home with the small town and ocean nearby. Love that dresser...
ReplyDeleteI like the white room though would love to add that fantastic dresser to it!
ReplyDeleteOOHH the heels on the table - just saw them and love it.
ReplyDeleteI like the furniture in the second, but the bedding in the first!
ReplyDeleteI always prefer the all neutral look for the bed room~ so dreamy&calming~~~

voting for the 2nd. I love the mix of color and the idea of using the bike basket for flowers is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually even like pink, but I'm LOVING the second room. It seems more alive, though not overbearing. They are both gorgeous, however!
ReplyDeleteYou can easily have both.
ReplyDeleteI see the same room twice, switched up seasonally to meet our mood.
Cheers!..to having it all.
I like the second one better! The pink is really beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment too! *hugs*
Definitely the one with the bike in it. :) Pretty pictures! I think I'd sleep well in either room.
ReplyDeleteI love both for what they each bring to the room, a natural lightness from the white room and a fresh and sweet pop from second room.
ReplyDeleteGreat taste.
dang it! you are making me think.
ReplyDeleteat first glance, #1 all the way. but then again it might be a little tiny bit drab. but #2 is too much pink for me. OR IS IT? HAHAHAHHAHAH
The first one, definitely. Also suits man & woman ...not just a girl. And, I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteHow about #1 with the sea foam dresser?
ReplyDeleteI would do the 1st and then add smaller shots of color in art & accessories.

oh I'm so much coveting pink lately that I would surely choose the second one... if... I hadn't to share my bedroom with the huz... ha! xo
ReplyDeleteI am in favor of the white room! I feel like it would be much easier to add to a white room than to a room that already has a strong pink personality. I also prefer the clean and calming soft whites in the first. :)
ReplyDeleteGee - that's a tough call! They are both lovely in their own way. Can't I have both? :0)
ReplyDeleteohhh me likey both of these.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one. I think it's cheerier. I also get so confused by how people manage to have white rooms and not ruin them with coffee/wine/ink stains from writing in bed at night/etc. What's the secret?? I can't even wear a white dress. :|
ReplyDeletelove the first, all white with a hint of natural!
ReplyDeleteserene and cosy!

Love the second one. I want to paint my dresser that color....
ReplyDeleteI love the second room. The splash of bright pink is fabulous. The dresser is just the right hight and the color is so great. Everything gets lost in the sea of white in the first one.
ReplyDeleteThe first for me. I want to starfish dive onto that bed and never leave that room.
ReplyDeleteI love white rooms - feel so relaxed and simple - but I do really love the pop of color with pink and the unexpected teal dresser... ahhhhh - I didnt help much!
ReplyDeleteI love love love pink. HOWEVER there just is something so strong about #1. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Great comparison. I would have to go for the first one for sure.
ReplyDeletethe top one definitely, beautiful.
ReplyDeletei've actually prepared a post with the first bedroom in it, but the second one is really cute, too...
ReplyDeleteDefinately the pink brightens it up a bit.
ReplyDeleteI love the first room but, if I could combine, I'd put the suitcases under the typewriter and add in the side table of the pink room. :)
