What better way to celebrate beautiful weather then to go kite flying?
I might have swollen eyes and itchy skin while I'm doing it, but damn the pollen, I want to go!

I might not be any good at it, but who cares? Getting a kite in the face isn't the worst that can happen. (in case you're curious, killing a bird is the worst that can happen, or breaking your leg...)

When was the last time you flew a kite? I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I ran around without abandon lugging a sweet kite behind me. That needs to change and soon!
I haven't flown a kite since I was a lil girl, but I plan on going to beach alot this summer so I will definitely be picking up a kite somewhere!! Yeahh the allergies are getting me too. I'll have to take some meds but I will get to fly!

We've had cheesy looking kite in Scott's trunk for a couple years now but we are a little embarrassed of it, but last week we found an amazing OWL kite at Target!

ReplyDeleteOh..."go fly a kite" (I mean it, litterally :)). Kite flying would be a great way to enjoy the weather, however, in the past when I have gone kite flying my kit seems to spend way more time on the ground than in the air :)

ReplyDeletethat locket is ridiculously cute and i lurrrve the dragonfly kite. i haven't been kiteflying in years but this makes me want to give it a whirl. i used to always fly kites with my uncles during family beach trips.... so lovely.
