those arms protruding are wicked funny! so is the licking. it's so unexpected, that's why it's so funny. congratulations on your engagement and future plans!
I bet it's his nervous "trying to look candid" pose. His go-to. Mine used to be the open-mouth (yes, in the fly trap Jessica Simpson way). Now it's a head tilt. We all have them, some just involve a little more tongue I guess ;)
I love it. I do it to my husband and he makes a fuss but it's just one of those things I do to show him that he's my everything, I like every bit of him and I wouldn't change a thing. : )

HA! That's hilarious!! It's got to be a love thing- I can't help myself- I too lick (That sounds horrible) I don't do it during photos but sometimes when I hug my kiddos I have an overwhelming urge to lick the tip of the nose. WOW Can't believe I'm posting this!?! ;)
Cogratulations to you both...thats fantastic news...as for the licking...Hmmm..I think its a thing that most people do ..when they really dont know what to do for a pose ...so the tongue lick does the trick..lol...I guess?
