Little frocks

As you know, I don't write a lot (or any really) on children's clothing, but what you may not know is that I have a five year old niece and this gives me the perfect excuse to pay attention to children's fashion. Here she is...'A' meet readers, readers meet 'A.'

Recently I stumbled upon a brand-spanking new Etsy shop, The Measure, and I was immediately taken by the photographs and sweet designs.

Did I mention that this shop follows an "upcycled, sustainable fashion" philosophy?

I'd like this adorable ruffle dress in my size please.

Ok, wish me luck, I have an interview this afternoon for a promotion (yes, I have to fight for promotions.) Deep breaths.

    Good luck on your interview... you will do AWESOME!! How can they not love you and want to promote you??!? They'd be crazy not to :)
    And your niece is precious- what a beautiful little lady she is. I love that first dress, with the ruffle slip peeking out the bottom of the dress!

    These kids dress better than me!

    I have a niece now, too! She is two on Saturday but they are from Papau New Guinea so dressing up is out of the question. boo.

    I stumbled upon this shop the other day too. Perfect little dresses and perfect pictures. I wish I knew a little girl to buy for (everyone I know has little boys!)

    my size too please! how fun are these little outfits. that one with the white ruffles hanging down below the little dress. i wish we adults could walk around dressed like that and pull it off. oh, hey, good luck on your promotion, i'm sure you'll have good news!
