I apologize for the lack of posting this morning. I have a nasty case of strep throat and, no, I am not 10 years old. I've been sleeping on and off most of the day, but being the dedicated blogger that I am, I did manage to compile a little list of pretty underthings for you. I have no idea why I'm thinking about lingerie as I'm feeling anything but sexy right now, but it occurred to me that I'd never searched the lingerie section of Etsy before. Lingerie must be a tricky thing to photograph, especially on a site like Etsy. These shop owners, in my humble opinion, styled and photographed the fanciful lingerie better than others.

How does styling effect your online shopping experience? Are you more easily swayed towards products with good styling and/or photography?
I hope you all are having a good week- I'm off to kick step's ass! Wish me luck!
get well soon !
ReplyDeleteLovely lingerie, I am more likely to stop for a look when the photography/presentation is pretty... I have an etsy shop (that I rarely update) and have the hardest time taking good photographs of stuff!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!xo
ReplyDeleteStyling and photography definitely influence my online shopping! If the presentation is bland and boring who is going to have fun looking through the items?
ReplyDeleteLOVE that last jumpsuit!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO for strep throat! it has been making the rounds out here, too. i am home sick today. ick.
ReplyDeletelove the first pic the most. and if something is not photographed properly, i usually am not interested. picky picky picky, i know.

ReplyDeleteOh dear! Sorry to hear about the throat - it's been rampant here in Sydney - I've just recovered from the 'flu....best of luck with that sweetie! These are sooo cute - I'm hopeless with underthings as you so delicately put it!! I often end up wearing an old T!

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your not feeling well. Strep is the worst. :( I absolutely love these little lingerie pieces. I could see myself wearing them around the house without feeling too revealed especially that first one. So adorable!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better!
Aw, hope you feel better! I used to get strep throats practically once a month as a kid.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, styling definitely matters. If nothing else, it proves that the seller is serious about their business and will hopefully translate that seriousness to their product, indicating a higher quality, better customer service, et.c.
Hope you feel better soon -strep is the worst!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the last one too! Adorable!
xxxLOL LOLA:)
Loe the first one!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon enough :)
styling plays a HUGE role in what I buy. I think it affects most people as well--I've always noticed that if the model is wearing a specific color on the website, it's usually the first color to sell out (if the piece of clothing is offered in multiple colors as well).
ReplyDeleteThe first one is my favorite - great photo too.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling much better. xoxo
I love that third one and I'm a total sucker for good styling. Just like really pretty packaging. Even though I know it has nothing to do with the product, I can't help it. Sorry to hear you're sick. I hope you feel better soon! xoxo, alek
ReplyDeleteYou're totally right about the styling. It makes the product look that much more appealing! Now only if I would look like the girls in the photos while wearing them....ha!
ReplyDeletestupid blogger..couldn't comment yesterday..i love the waist cincher bottom! and yes, the photography is awesome
ReplyDeletewhat beautiful things! when I was working on etsy weds today, I was turned off by terrible styling on a few lovely pieces.....such a shame
