Spanish tiles, stone tiles, pressed tiles, extruded tiles, ceramic tiles, so many tiles! Luckily, I'm not a home owner or I might be completely overwhelmed with the many options of tiles (among other things). Honestly, tiles are something I've long ignored, but not these option...I mean, how could you ignore these?
If you're looking for a bold look, tiles can certainly make a strong statement.

I enjoy the strong contrast between dark wall and lighter tile. This reminds of me of mint chocolate chip ice cream (one of my favorites!)

Now this, I haven't seen before.

Is that orange and lime I spy? Ok, maybe not lime, but minty green for sure.

For the tile minimalist, how about a simple stone back splash?

Loving pink and black perhaps? This tile reminds me of a nice game of Tetris.

Smaller monochromatic tiles are visually interesting but not overwhelming.

There's just something about a well designed bathroom that makes me very happy. Bathrooms shouldn't be neglected, they should be just as important (come on, personal stuff happens in there) as every other part of your home, right?

ReplyDeleteLove all the tiles. There really are so many options out there!
ReplyDeletein morocco all the houses have patterned tile half-way up the wall in every room. it's so chic and structured looking, and it actually makes your house feel physically cooler, too.
ReplyDeletei loooooove the mint and orange. that's a singing-into-your-hairbrush-at-the-mirror bathroom if i ever saw one.
oh, wow - i love that cluster of green tiles - it reminds me of the clustered decorative plates that i've been seeing lately. instead of being old-lady, they become an awesome art installation.
ReplyDeletei ALSO love love those red/pink/orange lil tiles in the last pic!
I'm loving the last one. It reminds me of one I was in, in Amsterdam, only in different shades of aqua blue/green.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to tile my entire bathroom - maybe one day.:)
xoxo
