Giveaway: Ashley Akers Jewelery

Happy, Happy Friday! I've got some fun plans this weekend that I'll share with you later but for now I'm very happy to introduce this weekend's giveaway.
In order to describe Ashley Aker's work I'm going to try a few words:
organic
tough
sexy
raw
Let me show you what I'm talking about:
These pendants have texture, an amazing amount of detail, and definite presence.
Bumpy Bead Pendants $85
Ashley maintains a sculptural, circular motif throughout her pieces.
I could wear these rings everyday.
Set of three saucer rings $60
I just want to touch the smooth pebbles these rings are made from. These are bound to draw attention because they exude a true artist's touch.
Custom Pebble Ring with your choice of gemstone $80
Ashley is offering a generous giveaway to Down and Out Chic readers: the winner gets to choose between these two pairs of gorgeous earrings...
Graduated Bubble Earrings (value $40)
Graduated Bubble Dangle Earrings $45
So whether you prefer studs or dangles, you have a choice and both are equally stunning.
Ok, here are the rules for entry (please read them because I've had to eliminate potential winners in the past and it makes me sad).
1) You must be a Follower of Down and Out Chic via the silly widget on the side bar or through a reader...let me know if you're new!
2) Visit Ashley Akers shop and/or her blog and tell me what you like.
3) Leave a comment here!
Cheers to the weekend everyone! (look I can fit my hair into pig tails, wahoo!!!)
B wishes you a happy weekend too (he just doesn't know it!)

  10. Ashley's shop is fantastic, and her blog is gorgeous. Thanks for sending me to yet another beautiful blog to follow! I love, love, love Ashley's starburst pendant with boulder opal.

You look so cute in this picture! That margarita makes me think of a great semi-divey Mexican restaurant in our old Knoxville neighborhood. They made the best margaritas in town and these gigantic chimichangas. I think it's time for a day trip to Senor Taco!

  23. Honestly, Ashley hasn't created anything that I don't find breath-taking!!!! She's one of the best and most beautiful people I've ever known and I'm so glad and thankful that her jewelry is as appreciated and out in the art world as it should be! Whether I win the earrings or not; its truly a pleasure to be a part of ANYTHING Ashley does! However, if I had to choose between the 2 sets of earrings, I choose the dangles. I'm a dangly sort of gal!!! <3
