Candy Striper Sunday

No, this post is not about me volunteering at the local hospital (although, if I were able to wear a candy striper shift dress I might sign up right now. ) I asked B what he thought about when he heard "red and white stripes" and his response was, "candy cane, mime, and barber shop." Hmmm, good answers B, but we are so not on the same page here.

I'm thinking more about nautical, preppy, fancy yachts and such. You know, think of a scene with a bunch of wealthy folk drinking mojitos and listening to Jimmy Buffett and little ole me standing out like a sore thumb with my arm full of tatoos and wishing I could throw myself overboard where I'd probably be more comfortable. How does this tie into red and white stripes? Well, I might be uncomfortable in this hypothetical, sleep deprived, overworked, imaginery hallucination, but I'm still stylish... IN STRIPES OF COURSE.
