Is it possible that the deer could be the new cow? Wait, hold it...let me back up. Have you noticed the trend in deer imagery? It kind of sneaks up on you if you're not paying attention. Remember when owls were EVERYWHERE?! Don't get me wrong, I love a good owl, but it got of control for a second there...
Anyway, I'm all about keeping this deer/fawn/doe trend going so here are some Etsy deer (if you will).

bison! just playing- the buffalo is great around my neck, not sure how it would look on the wall.

ReplyDeleteYes, the deer have taken over and I just love them! Great finds, these are all so cute. I have a couple of brass deer pairs in my shop that I'm having a really hard time parting with. I was saving up Etsy deer images of my own for a post (mostly photography). I'll put it off for a bit so I don't seem all "single white female" haha.

I have to say I am a sucker for deers. Never crazy about the farm animals from the early nineties though. The pig, the cow, the chicken. Never again. :)

All pretty, but I know what you mean about the deers being everywhere. I loved the owl trend too... also the bird silhouette (in flight or standing on stuff). What I hoped would catch on but then died is the partridge thing. I love partridges. Maybe I missed it?

You called it! Those deer are popping up everywhere. They're definitely the new owl. Totally (kind of) unrelated, but yesterday on our way to H's swimming lessons, there were three deer in the middle of the road. A mommy and two babies. The mom jumped over the fence, but the little ones were too small, so they had to run all the way around it. It was so cute to watch!
