Art: Julie Van Wezemael

These pieces by Belgian based illustrator Julie Van Wezemael are constructed using thread, pencil and paint. I love the whimsical quality of the imagery (how awesome is that cat?) and her use of pattern and color. Many of these pieces were done in 2010 but check out her flickr page for more recent work. You gotta love what some people are able to do with thread. I'm lucky if I can sew on a stinking button.
