Odette
Such pretty styling in the Odette lookbooks. This ring is my fave and while I'm at it, I think I need a necklace to match, right?

Interiors: Ladders in the Bedroom
I think I need a ladder in the bedroom. I especially like the bedside table ladders or even a ladder to hold vintage scarves. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled the next time I'm at a flea market to snatch one up. How would you use a ladder in your bedroom (or would you at all)?

Plate Wall #105 + Happy Weekend
Say hello to plate wall #105 (you can see the previous 104 plate walls here). This is the same room, styled two different ways. I like them both although I think the first is my favorite. Something about those purple pillows against the blue wall. Love it.
Well, I hope you have a wonderful weekend friends. I'll be updating my Tumblr page throughout the weekend (it's almost up to 1,000 posts!) and if you'll notice, it's also gotten a bit of a makeover. Other than that, it looks like it's going to be a rainy weekend for us so I plan on being as lazy as possible. Have a good one. xo
Thanks to the Chilean digital newspaper Guioteca for mentioning D&OC this past week!

Wish list 3.24.11
Love this colorful, abstract bicycle print ($25) from S and S. Found via Where the Lovely Things Are.
An equally colorful dress ($52) from Spool 72. I don't generally like strapless dresses but this one has a removable strap so I'd be willing to give it a whorl!
Dog bowls ($13.59) in my very favorite shade of green? Yes, please! Also available in pretty gingham.
How could you not be in a good mood wearing a necklace like this? Available at Kate Spade ($75).
My love for faux animal heads knows no bounds. This "pack rack" from Poketo ($58) would be perfect for hanging my ever increasing necklace collection.
Any new items on your wish list? Do tell.

Hair Inspiration for Spring
I desperately need to figure out new ways to wear my hair. I recently got bangs (which I love) and my hair is growing, but I am having a hard time getting creative with it. It's either down or in a ponytail and I need a Spring pick me up. I think I'll start with A Cup of Jo's hair tutorials and then maybe I can gain enough skill to move on from there. Or not. Any suggestions?
