I haven't decided on an overall scheme yet for wrapping this year but I'm thinking kraft paper (since it's cheap!), holiday themed Japanese tape (I bought mine through this awesome deal), letterpress gift tags, mini clothes pins, and bakers twine. Just talking about it is getting me excited! Do you plan ahead for your gift wrapping or are you going to wing it? I'd love to hear your ideas!

Love the confetti.....xv
Love it all!
I would love to receive a present wrapped with these things! SOmetimes the gift is in the packaging :)
These all look fun. I've been meaning to get some of that fun tape. This year's plan it's a more organic look but usually I can't resist a glammed up foil box or two.
I've been so busy wrapping orders that I haven't even thought about presents - eep! Love the theme you've got going on, especially that red garland!
What super ideas! I am going for a 40s themed make do and mend Christmas. Union Jack bunting, paper garlands, presents wrapped in brown paper tied with twine with homemade red, white and brown parcel tags. If I have time they may even have a felt (hand made) sprig of holly.
Mmm today I am staying home to wrap my Christmas presents and I am so excited to put them in pretty little packages tied up with string. You have given me some ideas as well- thank you!
actually I might do a post on my blog about this too, but I'll be sure to link you :)
I am wrapping gifts for almost 30 kids this year for Operation Santa Bronx...averaging about 15 gifts per kid. It's a really good thing I live to wrap and that Home Goods sells some awesome heavy weight paper for 2.99! I ma ke all my tags out of watercolor paper and decorate with sharpies. I love giving!!!
jess- wrapping orders is a great thing to be doing. congrats on your success!
herecomesthesun- glad you gleaned some ideas from the post! that makes me very happy.
abby- WOW! now that is definitely the kind of wrapping i could get into. very inspiring.
Aw gift wrapping is so much fun! I especially love the confetti garland (it would be perfect for Valentine's Day).
